Despite being trapped for more than two days, Flossie remarkably endured the experience and, after being freed, showed signs of weight loss but was otherwise undamaged. Poppy Vernon expressed her relief at having Flossie back and emphasized the joy of being able to give her cuddles again.
In a follow-up TikTok, Vernon suggested that Flossie might have found a hole, gone through it, and dug her own trail underground, inadvertently trapping herself. The story highlights the resilience of animals and the lengths people are willing to go to rescue and care for their beloved pets.
