Anticipate this heartwarming and charming scene every day when you return home.

This young boy just arrived home from school, and it’s not just his mother eagerly waiting for him. His loyal dog is also anxiously awaiting his return.

In the video, the dog is observed from their front yard as his sibling walks across the yard to reach him after getting off the school bus.

The dog seems ready to dash and meet his brother halfway, extending his legs in anticipation.

But he didn’t run; he just walked.

Maybe he’s had a long day of running and chasing his tail and just needed to stretch out his legs.

His brother runs up to him and greets him.

And then the dog does something that was most likely the reason for stretching the legs. He pulls himself up to stand on his back legs and gives his brother a hug.

What a sweet gesture! Plus, the dog wouldn’t let go, too.

It looks like this is a daily greeting for them because his brother wasn’t surprised the dog did that.

Or maybe he has been teaching his dog to do this, and he’s finally done it!

The human brother hugged him back, and the dog gave him kisses. These two are just so happy to be together again after such a long day.

We can probably guess that these two spend every waking hour together (when the human’s not in school).

Bernedoodles, a crossbreed of the Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle, make excellent family dogs.

This hybrid brings together the best traits of both breeds. They inherit the happy-go-lucky and playful attitude of the Bernese Mountain Dog while also possessing the intelligence characteristic of Poodles.

Bernedoodles particularly enjoy playing with kids, as the energy levels of young children can match their own.

Because they’re a mixed breed, Bernedoodles don’t always look alike.

Two Bernedoodles may stand beside each other, but you wouldn’t necessarily notice that they’re the same crossbreed because their appearances can vary.

Two undeniable features about Bernedoodles are their height and weight.

Bernedoodles typically reach their maximum height of around 23 to 29 inches by the time they are approximately 12 to 14 months old. Similarly, they reach their maximum weight of around 50 to 90 lbs at around the same age.

Unfortunately, while Bernedoodles can be your next best friend, they’re not necessarily the best guard dogs.

They are very friendly and not inclined to make loud noises. Therefore, they won’t bark if they encounter someone unfamiliar, whether it’s a dog or a human. In fact, they may even befriend the intruder.

It’s essential to keep that characteristic in mind as well.
