Bull Mastiff Fronky follows the same routine every day, begging his mother to let him out of the house each morning as he stands at the door. Once in the front yard, he patiently waits, and his anticipation is not for anyone but Shaun, the mailman, who happens to be his greatest friend.

Since Shaun was a seven-week-old puppy, Fronky has been his steadfast companion. The highlight of Fronky’s day is the arrival of Shaun, as the two share an inseparable bond.

Eileen, Fronky’s mother, shared with The Dodo, “You see his tail going so fast when she is at her truck, getting all her packages and getting ready to come to our house, and if she takes too long, he gets impatient.”

Despite Fronky’s massive 180-pound size, he remains a gentle giant who respects boundaries, always staying on his side of the fence. Shaun, who had lost her chocolate lab, finds solace in Fronky’s company, receiving the puppy cuddles she craves.

Eileen believes that Fronky’s short breaks with Shaun provide her with something to look forward to and help brighten her day.

Shaun and Fronky share a unique bond, with Shaun occasionally visiting on her days off, becoming a cherished member of their family. Eileen expressed, “Shaun has sort of become a member of our family… And Fronky is completely out of control when he hears her voice.”

Fronky’s affection for Shaun may seem unusual for his breed, but according to Hill’s Pets, Bullmastiffs can be kind and loving with family members. Fronky’s behavior suggests that he considers Shaun to be part of his family.

Eileen appreciates the mutual love between Fronky and Shaun, noting, “I appreciate that it’s a mutual love. So they’re both looking forward to it.”
