The small dog, sporting a tattered coat, discovered in the dumpster, seems to be shivering and severely undernourished.
Discovering an animal in distress is always heartbreaking, and the plight of a small dog found near death in a trash pile has deeply moved people worldwide. Lou Sisk came to Missey’s rescue when she was discovered, emaciated and on the brink of death, in a pile of garbage. There was no way she could have survived much longer!
After her surgery, Missy needed several months of recovery, but she received excellent care throughout the process. With time, her weight increased, and she gained strength and resilience. It wasn’t long before she was deemed ready for a forever home.
Fortunately, she didn’t have to wait long before finding a wonderful family to call her own.
