Jen and Ian have a deep love for animals, especially cats. Over the last nine years, the couple has dedicated their time to fostering cats, regularly visiting their local shelter to help older felines find permanent homes.
Already having three cats of their own, all foster failures, Jen and Ian continued their fostering journey, focusing on adult cats. However, everything took a turn when they encountered a small blind cat that melted their hearts.
Jen and Ian went to their local animal shelter and noticed a small blind kitten in a cage. The shelter’s staff explained that he had both of his eyes removed due to a hereditary issue.
Jen shared with Naturee, “I noticed this tiny cat who had undergone eye removal, bearing scars on his eyes and wearing a cone. He sat alone in his cage, attempting to eat from a food bowl.”
