Cappuccino’s owner, a young man named Lauro Morales, shared on social media the process he went through before putting his pet to sleep. With tears in his eyes, he no longer wanted him to suffer, so they did everything the dog enjoyed, such as taking him for a car ride, feeding him chicken, and even bathing and brushing him before saying goodbye. Lauro stayed with his beloved dog till the end, crying as he held him.

The video, published on TikTok by user _victorcaudillo, showed Lauro experiencing one of the most traumatic days of his life, bidding farewell to the most devoted dog he had ever known.
In the 10-minute footage, Cappuccino is unable to stand, most likely due to his age and ailments. Lauro first combed and showered him, recalling countless memories while the dog lay down, gazing at his soulmate, enjoying what would be his last caresses.
Lauro then placed Cappuccino on a tiny bed on top of a board for one more stroll. The family came out, sobbing, hugging him, and telling him how much they loved him and would miss his presence in their home.
They put him in the back of a truck with other people and went to get chicken and cookies for his final supper. Cappuccino devoured the meal.
Then came the most difficult time—the farewell. Lauro knew it would hurt, but it wasn’t until they arrived at the vet that the floodgates of Cappuccino’s childhood memories opened.
