As many people around the world stay home due to the coronavirus pandemic, work never stops at our animal shelters. Our partner organization Spеranta Pеntru animalе in Romania takes care of almost 600 dogs. They all need food, water, safe, clean living areas, and some tender loving care, every day.
One resident of the shelter, App, a beautiful merle Aussie mix, has been at the shelter since he was abandoned as a puppy. Recently, he faced a frightening accident where he got stuck behind a fence and severely injured his leg while trying to free himself. Thanks to the swift action of the shelter’s veterinarians, App received the necessary surgery to save his leg.
